On most mornings, I walk along Ocean Beach, in San Francisco. It is the perfect way for me to start the day… surrounded by nature, calm and beauty.
One day, years ago, I saw the most beautiful piece of Driftwood and took it home. The wood had been polished to a satin finish by salt water and sand. There were unusual holes in it and its color was the softest hue of beige.
When I got home, I put small candles in the holes and the wood took on a golden glow. It was magical. Beautiful.
